I have held senior roles in strategic communications and external relations at organisations including the General Medical Council, British Medical Association, NHS Blood & Transplant and Bupa.

In 2014 I set up the Bupa UK Foundation, establishing the charity's governance and operational infrastructure, funding strategy and grant-making programmes, delivering over £3m in grants to around 110 organisations.

Inspired by seeing amazing work being delivered by charities, large and small, in 2018 I completed a Masters in Voluntary Sector Management at City Business School, with a specialist module in grant-making, philanthropy and social investment.

Early in my career I worked in the exhibitions industry organising and promoting international trade shows, for the London Tourist Board and for an educational travel company based in the US. I am also a qualified London Blue Badge Tourist Guide with a passion for making history, culture and the arts interesting and accessible to everyone.
